Embedded & Internal Antennas
For over two decades, Nearson has provided customers with standard and customized embedded/internal antenna designs and solutions. We have the design, production, skill and technology required to provide our customers with quality, low-profile, highly efficient antennas for multiple applications.
Antennas for wireless devices are as various as the devices themselves. Embedded Antennas can be designed and used on printed-circuit boards (PCBs), or stamped metal antennas made from sheet metal, even ceramic designs such as Ceramic Patch antennas.
We provide PCB-based antennas designs in Singleband/Narrowband and Multiband/Wideband configurations for use in applications such as Wi-Fi, WLAN, 3G, 4G, LTE Cellular (GSM & CDMA, RFID, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Near Field and more. Antenna mounting options available are Through-Hole and double sided-tape.
In addition, our embedded/internal antennas can be further customized by cable length and quality i.e. type, thickness, insulation, center-fed, end-fed etc. We also provide a variety of connectors that you may choose from such as SMA, SMB, IPEX etc. in either Straight, Right Angle or Swivel configuration. The PCB board itself may come in different substrate type and thickness and can be insulated with certain types of EMI reducing or EMI resistant materials, such as shrink tubing or other materials. We can provide design options whereby external antennas can be used along with the internal antenna.

In some cases depending on the requirements, materials, complexity of design and other factors, their may be an Non-recurring engineering fee, (NRE) refers to a one-time cost to research, develop, design and test a new product. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), also known as a confidentiality agreement (CA), confidential disclosure agreement (CDA), proprietary information agreement (PIA), may be required to protect any type of confidential and proprietary information or trade secrets of either party.
